Every piece starts the same way: a counter, a stack of cards or postcards or flyers, and a business that wants the display to look like it was made for that spot — because it was. The alternative on the shelf is a twelve-dollar acrylic holder that fits everyone's stock a little and nobody's exactly.

How it's built

Six decisions before anything gets made

None of this shows up in a product photo, but it's the difference between a holder that works on your counter and one that just looks like it does.

• Viewing angle set by the height of the surface it will sit on, not a default — a holder on a low counter and one on a raised checkout stand need different tilts to face a customer's eyes instead of the ceiling.
• Stability calculated for a loaded stack, not an empty holder — foot placement and ballast, because a full load of cardstock leaning back will walk a light base right across the counter.
• Fit clearance measured to the client's actual stock, not a nominal card size, so it doesn't bind on heavy cardstock or rattle around a thin one.
• Material chosen by placement — PLA for a climate-controlled interior, PETG for a counter that sees ordinary temperature swings, ASA anywhere there's sun or real heat, because PETG is not window-rated.
• Branding as a recessed pocket, not a printed surface, so a label reprints when the logo changes instead of the whole piece needing to be remade.
• Print orientation chosen for the load path through the part — the layer lines run the direction the weight actually pushes, not whichever way finishes fastest.
